No Tractors, Only Hands, Passion, Heart.
Giardini Ripadiversilia was born in the early 1980s from an idea, a dream, a challenge of our parents, Giovanni and Renza, to produce wine in their homeland: Versilia.
The vineyards, where we cultivate Vermentino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah after careful zoning, are entirely terraced and cover a total area of 3 hectares. The difficult conditions require us to carry out all operations manually. Our heroic vineyards have exposures from east to northwest and are located at altitudes varying from 0 to 240 metres above sea level, which is only 5 km away. Behind us, the Apuan Alps, which reach a height of 2,000 metres and are only 10 km from the coast, create a unique microclimate with high temperature excursions between day and night, which give our wines freshness, flavour, and minerality.
The soils are schistose, rich in minerals, with a clay content of around 15%.
We believe in conscious agriculture, free and respectful of the environment that surrounds us, to produce wines with a strong identity matrix.
