Tasting
NOTES

Pronounced, deep, rich, brooding bramble fruit wafts from the glass layered with dark chocolate dipped cherries, sous bois, herbal nuances and a rich, almost cola bottle sweetness. Beyond the primary flavours of floral and red fruit, sit spices, black pepper and Mediterranean herbs. Dry, ripe, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity give the wine structure and fluidity. Spicy oak is well handled and nicely integrated and the finish is persistent and lingering. Very versatile and engaging and a wine that is interesting to serve slightly cooler.

Food
PAIRINGS

A wonderful wine to serve lightly chilled with grilled tuna steak, or pair with pigeon breast with morello cherry jus.
