Madame Veuve Point: A Legacy of Excellence
Madame Veuve Point is the unique story of a pioneering woman winemaker whose Pouilly-Fuissé won the Grand Prize at the Saint Louis World's Fair in the USA in 1904. Today, Géraldine Point, her great-great-granddaughter, continues the legacy, showcasing the diversity of Burgundy through a selection of over 30 AOP wines, mainly from the most famous villages.
Pouilly-Fuissé: The Flagship of Madame Veuve Point
Our "bien aimé" Pouilly-Fuissé is the flagship wine of the Madame Veuve Point range. The vineyard, a treasured heritage of the Point family, is nestled beneath the Roche de Solutré, a symbol of Burgundy’s winemaking history.
Grapes are pressed shortly after harvest to preserve their freshness and quality. After a period of lees stirring, the wine is oak-aged for several months in barrels in our historic Beaune cellars, enhancing its depth and complexity.
