Wine from the Solera of the Espinosa de los Monteros Family

This wine originates from the solera of the Espinosa de los Monteros family, with an average age of 80 years. It begins with a short period of biological aging under a veil of flor and then undergoes oxidative aging in centenary American oak casks. Initially, it was aged under static conditions, but in recent years, it has switched to the traditional Jerez system of criaderas and solera.

NOTES

Deep, expressive aroma profile; all kinds of dried fruit, cashew nuts, brazil nuts, toasted and roasted sesame seeds. Very dry and pure, there’s high quality fruit intensity and a strong saline tug, sweet spices, chocolate and candied citrus. Well structured, taut acidity, great complexity and very long, lean, savoury finish. Wonderfully defined, super precise - an excellently executed Palo Cortado.
