Jammy and juicy in the mouth with great tannins, warm alcohol, forest fruit and toasty oak melding together for a velvet texture. A little angular and a touch of bitterness on the finish suggest slightly ambitious winemaking.
This would suit roast partridge, or braised ox cheek, mashed potatoes and green beans, or, of course, asados Argentinos.
