Nineteen years old, this Limited Library Release shows sweet tannins, layers of black fruit, gingerbread, spiced red liqueur and dates supporting fresh acid. Powerful, deeply structured and very drinkable.

Graham's Vintage Port Library Release

Vintage

The 2003 is a classic Graham’s Vintage Port and one of the finest that we have made this century.

Library Release

Now with 19 years of bottle age, the Symington family have decided to launch a limited Library Release of Graham’s 2003 Vintage Port directly from their cellars. These bottles have aged in the perfect conditions of the Vintage Port cellars at the Graham’s Lodge, which benefits from the temperate climate defined by the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean.

Flavor Profile

This Vintage Port has matured beautifully with age, revealing aromatic complexity and seductive black fruit flavours.

Drinkability

It is very enjoyable to drink now, whilst retaining considerable ageing potential.

Tasting
NOTES

Concentrated bouquet; black cherry, cherry liqueur, baked figs, bacon, cinnamon, chocolate, sage, black pepper and menthol - a wonderful aromatic lift. Ripe and sweet tannins coat the mouth, this is a lovely, powerful wine, deeply structured with layers of sweet ginger bread, spiced red liqueur and dates supporting fresh acids - this is very drinkable. Nice long dark-fruited finish.

Food
PAIRINGS

Port and stilton is a classic combination, but this aged port would also suit chocolate desserts such as bitter chocolate and Swiss walnut torte.
