Laure Patry began her professional journey in North Yorkshire and Bath, after completing sommelier school in the enchanting Loire Valley town of Angers. In 2003, she furthered her career by relocating to the bustling heart of London.

A Culinary Journey with Gordon Ramsay Holdings

In total, Laure Patry has worked for Gordon Ramsay Holdings for eight years. This tenure included almost two years as Assistant Head Sommelier at Claridges and a further six years as Head Sommelier at Maze.

In 2011, Laure Patry joined Jason Atherton at Pollen Street Social as Head Sommelier. Within two years, her exceptional contributions led to a promotion as Executive Head Sommelier. She was an integral part of the opening teams for various outlets across Asia, New York, Dubai, Doha, Switzerland, Shanghai, and London.

In 2015, Patry embarked on her own project alongside Jason at Social Wine and Tapas, a distinctive retail wine bar and tapas establishment focused on smaller producers.

Executive Head Sommelier for the Group

Throughout her career, she served as the Executive Head Sommelier for the group, providing crucial support for each new restaurant opening and assisting in their operations until the end of 2022.

At the start of 2023, she took on a new role at Wine Source Group, a prominent wine importer specializing in premium wines and small Champagne growers, serving both restaurants and private clients. In her current capacity as the UK Manager, she oversees the UK team, engages in sales activities, and actively seeks to expand the portfolio by bringing in new producers.

Laure Patry is now dedicated to shaping the future of the wine industry in the UK through her role at Wine Source Group.
