An aura of pure hedonism
For forty years, we have been making wine from the fruit of two extensive plots, located primarily just next to the colourful chapel decorated by Sol Lewitt and David Tremlett.
From the very beginning, the goal was to convey, as directly as possible, the blessings of a vineyard that proves to be the mother of naturally seductive wines. Indeed, the Barolos of Brunate stand out, aromatic, bold, and supple, right from the start.
There is a carousel of flowers on the nose, accompanied by ethereal accents in the generous vintages, or by a range of citrus notes in the fresher years. In its youth, the wine is infused with fruit that seems sweet and whole, with tannins that enliven the mouthfeel and restore tension, without losing smoothness upon tasting. It is maturity, however, that paints a precious portrait, with all the autumnal tones and hints of smokiness. There is an aura of pure hedonism that permeates the top of this hill.
