Honoring Tradition: The Lunelli Family's Oenological Legacy
Strengthened by the oenological experience of three generations, the Lunelli family chooses to cultivate the passion for winemaking excellence by combining the successes achieved with the Ferrari Trentodoc sparkling wines with a collection of high quality still wines. In 2001 it was the turn of the ancient and mystical land of Umbria and of a wine of great power and longevity - Sagrantino. Land was acquired in Bevagna and Montefalco, already partly planted with vines and where years later the Carapace would be built, the sculpture-cellar, by Arnaldo Pomodoro. Every company can be socially responsible, especially a winery whose bond with the territory and nature is deep and and indissoluble.
Embracing Sustainability
Strengthened by this conviction, the Lunelli family has made sustainability its belief, with the aim of combining the quality of the grapes with the health of the winemaker and environmental protection. In 2014 the Umbrian estate of Castelbuono obtained organic certification. This widespread project of agriculture and life, of quality and beauty, is enclosed in the Tenute Lunelli brand, which narrates the typicity of areas particularly suited to oenology through wines capable of interpreting their terroir with depth and which have elegance and longevity as their own distinctive feature.
