Focus on Excellence and Hospitality
From their base in Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, John Jordan and his team focus on just three things: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and hospitality. This allows them to maintain extremely high standards of wine quality and value, while still exploring ways to improve their wines, guest experiences, and their culture year after year.
European-Inspired Winemaking Philosophy
Jordan wines are made in a European style that allows them to pair well with a broad range of foods. The winemaking emphasizes the wine’s fruit and acidity rather than its alcohol and tannin. Acidity plays two roles central to food pairing: cleansing of the palate and providing balance. Achieving elegance and balance in the bottle drives all that they do in their vineyards and cellars.
A Vintage of Excellence
Every detail is attended to with a passion guided by John Jordan’s philosophy that every vintage, every meal and every tasting should be better than the last. This 2019 vintage hits all the right notes. The palate is inviting and well-balanced, exuding flavours of blueberries, cassis and blackberry, making this a vintage that will age for years to come. A fitting release to commemorate Maggie Kruse’s first vintage as head winemaker.
